It was beautiful. I was glad to see that the Common Room was as well taken care of as I had left it, except for a few paintings. One of which was one of myself--or so I was told...again. And the House Elves looked so happy! I'm glad since they do, and continue to do such wonderful work. It seems that they have continued to use my recipes, or I was told that some of them were. (I did recognize some of them, but I didn't recognize other ones as much. It seems likely that I just made them up later.)
I can't quite find my cup where it was last left though. Which, I suspect is somewhat expected as something as useful as such is bound to get lost.

Rowena! Godric! Salazar! I've heard that children still go to our school! Can you believe it? I'm standing outside of the castle in the cold, but isn't that wonderful? I saw children flying on broomsticks up in the sky too! They were throwing balls to one another. I've never seen anything like it.
Actually I found out before I arrived since I was conversing with a very smart young man who said he was going to go to Hogwarts. I want to go see the House Elves. I hope they're well taken care of. And Godric, Salazar, don't worry, I'll look for your things. And Salazar, I'll have a look for Lavinia too.

This definitely isn't making much sense, but isn't the world always as such? The sitting room here isn't something that seems very normal. The furniture seems different, and these books seem a bit odd too. I've never seen anything like it. I've seen Salazar has written something in it, so I'm trying mine's out too. Do you know why they gave us these things? Who can see what I'm writing anyways?
I last remembered seeing the happy shining orbs of the new friends I've introduced into Hogwarts. It's a pity that they were so abused before I've found them and removed them from their families. Pour souls. May they live happily, protected by the Castle's walls. And I'll have you all know that I've given them the permission to hex as necessary so I would advise you against even letting your mind linger upon hurting them. It was a perfect day though.
Oh and while I'm still writing and somewhat bored: Does anyone want pie? I was going to make some apple pies this evening for our new guests, but I suppose that would have to wait until this trouble is all straightened out.

I woke up this morning I suddenly realised We're all in this together I started smiling 'Cause you were smiling And we're all in this together I'm made of atoms You're made of atoms And we're all in this together. And long division just doesn't matter 'Cause ( we're all in this together... )
